Cilento DOP extra virgin olive oil
Our ``Extra Virgin Olive Oil CILENTO DOP`` comes from the simple pressing of the whole, fresh and healthy olives of the Cilento area, through a mechanical process that categorically excludes the use of chemical substances. This process occurs cold, preserving all the characteristics of the oil; the milling, among the most important phases of the process, still uses granite millstones, which ensure the best preparation of the ``olive paste``. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cilento DOP is one of the excellent products of national olive growing and is produced exclusively in the 62 municipalities belonging to the Cilento National Park or bordering with it, in a land always strongly suited to the production of olives from oil. It is an intense oil, spicy and bitter at the right point, for those who love ``long`` flavors.
